How does it work?
To offer you the best possible service, your request will be handled directly by our distribution partner for Belgium, Luxenbourg and the Netherlands. You’ll find the exact process further down on this page.

Frequently asked questions
How much will the repairs cost?
- Costs for repair services vary depending on the type of repair. Detailed pricing will be provided in your quote.
- All products sent in for repair must be sent in a clean condition as optimum repair can only be carried out on clean products. We have to charge a cleaning fee of €5.00 if the product needs cleaning.
Are there any repair conditions?
- Sending a product to us is an order to carry out the repairs we deem necessary, unless otherwise stated in a declaration by the sender.
- Please note that we are unfortunately unable to process your return without a sufficient description of the fault.
- Repairs are covered by a 1 year guarantee.
- If we do not receive a response from you within 2 weeks of sending the quotation, we reserve the right to return the product to you.
- Repair requests for older products will only be accepted with reservations.
- If your product should be damaged during repair, we will of course exchange it for a product in stock.
The Repair Process
1. Contact customer service
Before sending your product in, please check with us whether a repair is possible.
Email us at klantenservice@ortlieb.nl with a brief description of your issue.
Please attach a clear picture of the damaged area and a picture of the entire product so that we can make an initial assessment.
2. Prepare your package
Our customer service department will contact you to let you know whether we will be able to carry out a repair.
Please remove all personal items as well as any attachments such as mounts or adapters, and clean the product thoroughly. This ensures we can handle it safely and hygienically.
3. Send your product
We recommend that you use an insured service when purchasing postage to obtain proof of delivery. This will protect you against loss or damage in transit.

4. Repair processing
Once we have received your product, we will call you and give you a full quote for the repair, including all shipping costs.
If there are any issues with the repair or we need to adjust the original price quoted, our customer service department will contact you before we go any further.
The product will be repaired and sent back to you.
