Although our products are manufactured in Germany, all orders are shipped from our warehouse in the Netherlands by our partner, Sportlogistics.eu.

Products are usually delivered within 2-3 business days.
If you place your order on a business day before 4 p.m., your order will be shipped the same day. If you place your order on the weekend, your order will be shipped the next business day.
Once we have prepared your order, you will receive an email. This email will contain a Track & Trace link from DHL. Once DHL has received the package, you can track your order via this link.

ORTLIEB-Warranty

The ORTLIEB warranty, limited to five years, is a voluntary warranty provided by the manufacturer. It grants additional rights independent of the rights granted by consumer protection laws. Should a product be replaced within the warranty period, the date of first delivery continues to apply to the five-year warranty period.

This worldwide, free of charge warranty of five years from delivery refers to material defects and processing errors. Scuff marks, holes and cracks caused by the customer's own fault are not covered by the warranty. Claims for defects due to normal wear and tear, improper use, non-observance of the assembly instructions, third-party intervention as well as due to improper storage are excluded. No warranty is given for damage due to improper care and improper use. As a rule, however, such damage can be repaired at cost price.

Consumer Protection Law

Important: The provisions of the ORTLIEB warranty, which is limited to five years, do not apply to claims arising from statutory consumer protection rights. These statutory rights are not limited by the warranty. Thus, the benefits under the five-year limited ORTLIEB warranty are intended to supplement and not replace the rights granted by consumer protection laws.

If a product is defective, consumers may in particular claim the rights under §§ 434 et seq., §§ 474 et seq. of the German BGB (German Civil Code). Consumers can choose whether to claim performance under the ORTLIEB warranty, which is limited to five years, or under their statutory consumer protection rights.

The first point of contact for warranty claims is always the specialist or online dealer with whom the purchase contract for the product was concluded. This warranty is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Depending on the model, this durable handlebar bag made of waterproof Cordura fabric offering you the space you need for items you need to be able to access quickly. The smallest of the Ultimate Plus models distinguishes itself in terms of its transparent, user-friendly and rainproof flap compartment that enables to secure your smartphone, GPS device and roadmap. You can naturally operate your touchscreen device through the transparent cover. The two larger models enable the use of different inserts in case you want to stow any special gear such as your high-performance camera while you’re underway. What all three models have in common is convenience. You can open the flap with a single hand, thanks to its magnetic closure, and closing it again is virtually automatic. The detachable shoulder strap transforms your handlebar bag into a convenient shoulder bag as soon as you reach your destination.

Which handlebar mount is right for me?

That depends on your bike. For classic handlebars, the standard adapter is suitable — it is stable and easy to install. If you want to secure your bag further, choose the version with a lock. For e-bikes with a display in the center, the e-bike mount is ideal because it offers more space.

If you want to use your bag on different bikes with only one mount, you can also use the Mounting-Set QR, which is not permanently attached to the bike.

If you already have an ORTLIEB or Rixen & Kaul mount, you usually do not need to buy an additional one. However, check compatibility beforehand using our compatibility overview.
